I am now a user in the MUL wiki. I was thinking of a day in the life of Liaison Librarian on the Library wikis but then I thought cooking links will be great idea!!!

Last Exercise: Instant Messaging

Instant messaging (IM) is a form of real-time direct text-based communication between two or more people using personal computers. The user's text is conveyed over a network. More advanced instant messaging software clients also allow enhanced modes of communication, such as live voice or video calling. A wiki is a Web page that can be viewed and modified by anybody with a Web browser and access to the Internet. This means that any visitor to the wiki can change its content if they desire.While the potential for mischief exists, wikis can be surprisingly robust, open-ended, collaborative group sites. I am getting the hang of it!!!
